Re: mpich C++ translation (to the correct list)
I didn't get as much done today as I was hoping, but some progress was
made. I've filed new RC bugs for the transition against:
blacs-mpi
scalapack
and have followed up to Bug#323744 with a more complete patch and an
additional note that this rebuild is needed for the transition.
I have also filed new RC bugs against:
fftw
k6fftwgel
k7fftwgel
p4fftwgel
for not properly encoding shared library dependencies in their shared
libraries and recommending a change of the mpich Suggests.
I've filed a followup to Bug#325155 for warped, including a better patch
to fix the dependencies and adding an additional note questioning why the
package doesn't depend on the mpich shared library.
I have not filed bugs against:
hypre
illuminator
parmetis
since Adam is currently working on them. I'm assuming that Adam will file
the ftp.debian.org bug requesting the removal of illuminator for sparc;
Adam, let me know if that's not correct.
Still to be done:
* Track down the hdf5 C++ transition.
* Monitor the various packages that need new uploads and make sure that
it actually happens.
* Do another check with grep-dctrl to make sure that I've not missed
anything.
