Hi! Would you please consider quotatool for sarge? Version 1.4.7-1 corrects detection of XFS kernels/quota. This fixes bugs #258289 and #289812, which broke quotatool on all non-xfs filesystems if xfs-support was present in the kernel (like in the stock debian kernels). I know you don't like new upstream versions, generally, but in this case, it's just a patchlevel increase, which changes very little more than just the xfs detection code[1]. Backporting really would be just a waste of time. Changelog: quotatool (1.4.7-1) unstable; urgency=high * New upstream release - correctly detect XFS-enabled kernels (closes: #258289, #289812) - correctly display kBs instead of blocks in some cases * Boosted Standards-Version to 3.6.1 (no changes needed) -- Bas Zoetekouw <bas@debian.org> Wed, 11 May 2005 11:24:21 +0200 [1] also, autoconf and automake seem to have been rerun, so the configure scripts and friends had some changes. -- Kind regards, +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Bas Zoetekouw | GPG key: 0644fab7 | |----------------------------| Fingerprint: c1f5 f24c d514 3fec 8bf6 | | bas@o2w.nl, bas@debian.org | a2b1 2bae e41f 0644 fab7 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+
