Hi,
I'm currently uploading gnome-media 2.8.0-0.4, which fixes the rather
nasty crasher in #308536, and would like it to be pushed into testing.
I had to create that bug report as the original reporter of the issue
mailed me directly (as they were following instructions in Sound
Juicer's manual).
The patch applied to the package has been in upstream CVS for some time
(and indeed is in gnome-media 2.10) but was never backported to
gnome-media 2.8.x.
