I have packages prepared, but bear in mind that Debian is attempting to
stabilize for a release, and this would be very disruptive.
Requesting input from the release team as to whether this would be a very
bad idea, or merely a bad idea. Note that this version increments sonames
of all libraries because certain ABIs changed (upstream) without an
increment in the last release.
