bash, gcc-3.4, python-defaults and python2.3 for testing
Please consider the following packages for testing:
- python2.3 2.3.5-1, fixing a security issue which is
also fixed in 2.3.4-19, removing non DFSG code
(md5) and removing the profiler code (python-profiler
currently is in the new queue, but should go to
testing/non-free as well).
- python-defaults, tighening the dependency to 2.3.5,
updated FAQ, no code changes.
- gcc-3.4, should be updated, so that the gcc-3.4
has the fixes from the gcc-3.4 branch up to the
date we got the fixes from the gcc-3.3 branch in
gcc-3.3. only "critical" package is libgcc1, which
didn't change exported symbols compared to the
current version in testing.
I'm not planning any further gcc updates, maybe except
gcj working on mips/mipsel again.
- bash-2.05b-2 (2.05b-2-24 to 2.05b-2-26)
- debian/skel.bashrc: Quote dircolors invocation (closes: #285840).
which can lead to some security problems executing this
code.
- one readline fix (for the one statically linked to bash).
Thanks, Matthias
