mozplugger status (was: Bug#264955: To be fixed?)

This question about a status report is some weeks old already.
Either a fixed package should be uploaded, the bug be downgraded
(if it is really only broken under VNC, one could argue that this
only qualifies as "important") or the package be removed from sarge.
So which one is it?
