I define "smooth enough" as "nothing breaks" (which isn't broken already).
(The d-i people will probably have some remarks about this assertion...)

gnutls10 needs an upload anyway; gnutls7 already has been relinked.


NB: I've been asked why this whole thing couldn't have happened a month or
two earlier. Two reasons: (a) I've taken a whole bunch of packages from
Ivo and needed to make mysself a bit more familiar with all of them, which
takes time. (b) I've investigated alternate means of fixing the problem,
like (b1) (along the lines of glibc) supporting old and new interface in a
single library, or (b2) not upgrading and hoping that nothing major will
break that would require an upgrade.

Unfortunately, (b*) is not possible. See the bugs in my previous mail.
