The fact that they're used by non GNOME projects is another issue. The
fact is that libxml started as the gnome xml library, and is still
hosted by the gnome project.

A breakage in validation reporting that made scrollkeeper crash if you
were using experimental libxml2.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for libxml2 to come out from NEW. Then I'll
wait another week or two before pushing to unstable.
