The NMU has built everywhere, is now in testing, and looks fine.

Nope. I've uploaded an NMU.

Yes, the maintainer has closed it.

Matthias mailed a workaround to this list, which I've forwarded to
#146103. I've nudged Adam Conrad about it again; will continue nudging
until something gets done. :)

I sponsor the maintainer; I've prodded him. Currently the upload of
xshipwars is pending the acceptance of the latest libjsw upload, since
that changed SONAME.

Guillem Jover downgraded this to important (correctly, I think), and
observed that there's a patch in #116320. I'll monitor this and fix it
if it seems appropriate to do so.

As you'll have seen, I've filed bug #188403 with my analysis of the
build failure on sparc. Not a literal patch, but it does have what I
think is a solution. What do you want to do about this?

I've filed bug #188400 with a patch.

I'm afraid I haven't got to these yet: I've been a bit too busy this
week, what with quitting my job. I'll keep at them, though.

Cheers,
