Request to join the R team (if that exists as a separate thing)

I am rnpalmer-guest on Salsa (I'm a DD now, but haven't bothered to change username).

https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/r-pkg-team#Get_involved says Science and Med team members automatically have commit rights to R team packages, but that isn't actually true: according to the 'Yours' tab of Salsa search, I have commit rights to ~400 (out of ~1300).

(It possibly *should not* be true: if you automatically mass-update+upload packages without looking at them, then you *shouldn't* give out commit rights to those packages to anyone who asks, because anyone who can commit to such a package can get malware into Debian by pushing it to Salsa and waiting for the next mass-upload. When I clone a new-to-me package, I also apt-get source it, check whether they match, and if not (i.e. there have been changes since the last upload), review these changes; possibly routine-update should gain such a feature.)

If accepted, I intend to merge and upload the pull requests I currently have open: r-bioc-affxparser r-bioc-cner r-bioc-graph r-bioc-iranges r-bioc-oligo r-bioc-rtracklayer r-cran-argparser r-cran-rlang r-cran-sdmtools r-cran-sparr r-cran-survminer rapache.
