I am okay with i386 in particular being dropped (there was recently a discussion to even drop i386 from debian), but not all 32-bit archs that we support. There are many packages where upstream does not own the same, and we still do support it on 32-bit archs in some way. The maintainence cost (with the patch) does not look very high to me, so I'd consider keeping the support for now. -- Best, Nilesh
