Being more verbose.... I pulled out the R/html_dependencies.R from the last markdown version and propagated that file with a patch This did not have much to do with the JS it vendors.
Would be nice if you package and dput.
package => if you could package bslib and upload. As it looks, shiny need it as well.
For now, if you can review rmarkdown and upload or give me a green signal to do so ....
Please also consider checking once that nothing breaks, autopkgtests pass though Nilesh
