Hi Dirk, On Wed, Mar 14, 2018 at 07:00:11AM -0500, Dirk Eddelbuettel wrote: > There was no reason why you think these packages need to be hijacked by > you. Hence, my answer is a short "no, please DO not do that". I don't understand why you are saying this is a hijack: by definition it can't be, since Andreas asked your permission. Also he pretty clearly stated the reasons for such a proposal: moving to a team- and git-based workflow (allowing more people to contribute) and improving the packaging (adding autopkgtest, migrating to dh-r and DEP-5 copyright). But you are of course perfectly entitled to decline this, as you did. Best, -- ⢀⣴⠾⠻⢶⣦⠀ Sébastien Villemot ⣾⠁⢠⠒⠀⣿⡁ Debian Developer ⢿⡄⠘⠷⠚⠋⠀ http://sebastien.villemot.name ⠈⠳⣄⠀⠀⠀⠀ http://www.debian.org
