This is X11-to-Wayland regression.

Steps to reproduce:
- Start KDE in Wayland mode
- Open konsole window
- Open chromium window
- Copy to clipboard some text from chromium
- Close chromium
- Try to paste the text to konsole

This will not work.

I use up-to-date sid. Versions:
