Package: libwayland-bin Version: 1.21.0-1 Severity: important File: wayland X-Debbugs-Cc: xdavius@gmail.com Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? - Have Debian KDE plasma installed - install bookworm-backports: 1.23.0-1~bpo12+1 - Just installed, you cannot use the DE anymore in Plasma Session - Rebooting : KDE plasma launch with only black screen and pointer. Can't tgo to CLI, need hard reset. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? - Tried to rollback wayland stack unsuccessfully - Solve by deleting KF5*/QT5*/QML* packages, disable backports, reinstall KDE. - Tried my pacstall wayland package : Same issue - Tested Gnome, it works. Only KDE is affected - Tried to recompile kwin without success with debuild and new wayland-dev - Not tried to recompile plasma-workspace-wayland * What was the outcome of this action? - Just reinstall wayland 22 stack from Stable * What outcome did you expect instead? - Should works with last version of wayland *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.7 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.10.9-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages libwayland-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.36-9+deb12u8 ii libexpat1 2.5.0-1 ii libxml2 2.9.14+dfsg-1.3~deb12u1 libwayland-bin recommends no packages. libwayland-bin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
