Using Spectacle as usual, with AVIF format selected in configuration.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Set AVIF in configuration, take screenshot, try to save picture or drag'n'drop from Spectacle.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

See above.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Saving avif image or dragged temporary image to other apps.

Appears this was fixed with the libaom upload 3 years ago. Confirmed
saving as avif works in bookworm/trixie/sid, so closing this bug.
