Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

In Kleopatra, click "Decrypy/verify…"

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Select a signature file ending with ..sign, e.g. SHA512SUMS.sign from
https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/current/amd64/iso-cd/SHA512SUMS.sign

   * What was the outcome of this action?

A dialog shows:

  An error occured: Kleopatra: Could not open file "SHA512SUMS." for
  reading: No such file or directory (218136657)

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The "SHA512SUMS" file downloaded along "SHA512SUMS.sign" to be verified.

Please note that if I rename "SHA512SUMS.sign" to "SHA512SUMS.sig",
everything works well
