Package: kscreen Version: 4:5.20.5-1 Severity: normal Apologies if I am not reporting this for the correct package. I try the following steps: 1) Reboot my laptop (ThinkPad X1 Yoga) with external monitor plugged in. The external monitor works as expected. 2) At the SDDM prompt, log into Plasma Wayland. The external monitor still works as it should. 3) Disconnect the external monitor Still everything appears to work as it should. 4) Reconnect the monitor -- it remains black and tells me 'no signal' Nevertheless, the system settings dialog shows me that the external display is correctly recognized. From looking at that dialog everything seems to be in order. 5) Log out of Plasma Wayland, and log back in. 6) The external display is back! This does not happen with Plasma X11. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages kscreen depends on: ii kde-cli-tools 4:5.20.5-2 ii libc6 2.31-9 ii libkf5configcore5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5coreaddons5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5dbusaddons5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5declarative5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5globalaccel-bin 5.77.0-3 ii libkf5globalaccel5 5.77.0-3 ii libkf5i18n5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5plasma5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5plasmaquick5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5quickaddons5 5.77.0-2 ii libkf5screen-bin 4:5.20.5-1 ii libkf5screen7 4:5.20.5-1 ii libkf5xmlgui5 5.77.0-2 ii libqt5core5a 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt5dbus5 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt5gui5 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt5qml5 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt5quick5 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt5sensors5 5.15.2-2 ii libqt5widgets5 5.15.2+dfsg-2 ii libstdc++6 10.2.1-3 ii plasma-framework 5.77.0-2 ii qml-module-qtgraphicaleffects 5.15.2-2 Versions of packages kscreen recommends: ii upower 0.99.11-2 kscreen suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
