Package: phonon-backend-gstreamer
Version: 4:4.9.1-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

phonon-backend-gstreamer (4:4.9.1-1): requires phonon-backend-gstreamer-common (=4:4.9.1-1),
however phonon-backend-gstreamer-common was upgraded to 4:4.9.1-2.
I obvisouly cannot upgrade the common package.

By the way, reportbug detected phonon-backend-gstreamer 4:4.9.1-1 to be
installed (aptitude reports the same version), but also reports that a
new version called 4:4.9.1-2 is available.
Debian Package Tracker also reports that a version called 4:4.9.1-2
should be available.
Debian Packages (packages.debian.org) reports that version 4:4.9.0-1
is the newest one.
In an updated Docker container with Debian sid installed and fully
upgraded I cannot even install phonon-backend-gstreamer, apt/aptitude
also reports that it cannot install phonon-backend-gstreamer because of this
broken dependency.

Hi! This is correct, with version 4:4.9.1-2 we dropped the Qt4 parts of this
backend, which means phonon-backend-gstreamer is no longer available.

If you can't upgrade is because phonon-backend-gstreamer is installed in your
system. You need to remove it in order to be able to upgrade the -common
package.

Notice that this also means you might end with some qt4 package soundless... but
we are removing qt4 so you better remove those packages too :-)

Kinds regards, Lisandro.
