Bug#945528: org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper: QDBusArgument: read from a write-only object

Package: powerdevil
Version: 4:5.14.5-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I observe the problem in a new installed laptop under testing, in an
older one it does not appear.
In the logs there is a lot of messages like :
Nov 26 12:19:23 eiffel7 dbus-daemon[654]: [system] Activating service name='org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper' requested by ':1.988' (uid=1000 pid=85001 comm="/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/org_kde_powerdev") (using servicehelper)

Nov 26 12:19:23 eiffel7 dbus-daemon[654]: [system] Successfully activated service 'org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper'

It seems these messages arrive when the system resume after a suspend.

How I can correct this ?

Regards

François
