Package: simple-scan Version: 3.20.0-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, For the past year or two the keyboard shortcuts in Simple Scan have not worked. I've encountered this bug while using KDE (both KDE4 and KDE5). I mark this as "important" because during large scans (sometimes over a hundred pages, scanned individually) the use of such shortcuts as Ctrl+1 for scan, < and > for rotate scan, and [ and ] for move scan left and right, save lots of time and effort. Using the mouse becomes very tedious (especially finding the rotate and move functions by right-clicking, naviating the menu, then clicking again each time. It would be really appreciated if this could be resolved. Thank you. -- Package-specific info: -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.6.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages simple-scan depends on: ii adwaita-icon-theme 3.20-3 ii dbus-x11 1.10.8-1 ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.26.0-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.20.0-1 ii libc6 2.22-11 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.14.6-1+b1 ii libcairo2 1.14.6-1+b1 ii libcolord2 1.3.2-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.34.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.48.1-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.20.6-1 ii libgusb2 0.2.9-1 ii libpackagekit-glib2-18 1.1.1-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.1-1 ii libsane 1.0.25-2+b1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.13.0-1 ii libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.20-1 ii xdg-utils 1.1.1-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 simple-scan recommends no packages. simple-scan suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
