Package: libkldap4
Version: 4:4.6.5-1
Severity: normal

When adding a contact to the addressbook using kabcclient, kabcclient
shows the VCARD and then hangs. ps axwww reveals:

12603 pts/5 S 0:01 /usr/bin/kabcclient -A -if vcard
12604 ? S 0:00 kdeinit4: kio_ldap [kdeinit] ldap local:/tmp/ksocket-raju/klauncherwZ4450.slave-socket local:/tmp/ksocket-raju/kabcclientZ12603.slave-socket

Reading entries from the address book seems to work just fine. This
problem also seems to happen through KMail: add a filter on unknown sender
addresses, let the action be to add the address to the address book.
KMail will hang when it encounters a mail from an unknown sender.

I'm presuming this is an issue in libkladp4, please reassign if
necessary.

Strace and LDAP configuration available on request.

Regards,
