Package: qtcreator
Version: 4.8.2-1
Severity: grave

This is what I get when I try to start qtcreator:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

I tried the crude hack renaming the lib and symlinking to a newer
version, but that made things even worse. Besides, other programs
will be affected, too.

Err, why they where out of date? are you updating your system by "pieces"?

Sounds to me that you had an issue in your setup. Those libs shouldn't
be outdated.

Anyways, closing.
