Subject: kde returns to login screen after 3 seconds of loading
Package: kde
Version: 5:66
Severity: important
kde is installed in a machine with Gnome, now the machine has Kde and gnome
too, when i was installing the installer asked me to use Kdm or gdm as default, i choosed
gdm but now it starts very well on gnome but when you choose kde it loads for a
few seconds and it returns again to login screen, the bug is totally
repeatably, you can easily repeat the bug at your machine it happens allways,
you can not start Kde at all.

Hi Alvaro,

sorry we couldn’t get back to you in a more timely manner.

This bug report was raised against an old and now unsupported version of
Debian. In the meantime all elements in the stack that could cause this bug
have made a lot of progress (linux and the drivers, Xorg, Qt, Plasma to name a
few).

So I’m closing this bug report for now. Feel free to reopen it with more
recent details if you can still reproduce the issue.

Happy hacking !
