I'm positive this is not the same bug, as I don't have problems with keyboard
lock state per se.
#942429 only concerns the propagation of lock state to notification applets
like the keyboard indicator and the lock screen.
It's possible that the two are related, but I don't think it's the same bug
from what I've gathered from the bug description.
