Bug#913532: konsole: copy-paste functionality sometimes disappears

Dear Maintainer,

With Version 18.04.0 of konsole on an up-to-date Stretch installation,
I find in some konsole windows that copying text no longer works.   I
can still highlight text and type Ctrl-shift-C and Ctrl-shift-V
without error, but the paste produces some old, unexpected output.
The same old output also shows up in klipper.  The dropdown Edit menu
at the top of konsole windows has the same symptom, producing the same
old paste.   It feels like what's in the paste buffer is becoming
immutable at some point.

You might think that the problem lies with klipper rather than with
konsole, but other konsoles that are already open and newly created
konsoles still work fine.

I'd be happy to run any diagnostics when the problem occurs in order
to help diagnose it.

Thanks for your hard work.   konsole with its instance-specific
profile selection is one of my favorite features of KDE.
