Hi,
The bug is fixed in 5.8.7 and looks like quite a lot of Debian KDE
users complain about it, see
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=135222
It is also fixed in testing and so on and has to deal with the way
ksmserver handles child process output.
The fix seems to be in the following commits :
