Bug#912332: dewalls: qbs removal from Buster
Source: dewalls
Version: 1.0.0+ds1-6
Severity: important
User: debian-qt-kde@lists.debian.org
Usertags: qbs-removal
Hi! Qbs upstream announced yesterday that they will be deprecating it:
http://blog.qt.io/blog/2018/10/29/deprecation-of-qbs/
There are currently only two packages using qbs in the archive: qt creator
and dewalls. As Qt creator can use it's internal copy (and will probably only
need it just backwards compatibility) dewalls becomes the only package
that really needs it.
So ideally please ask upstream to switch the build system. We will probably
ask for qbs' removal soon.
Thanks, Lisandro.
