Package: sddm
Version: 0.15.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

sddm doesn't seem to update /run/utmp or /var/log/wtmp. Logging in with it, the
'w' command gives me:

> ron@khufu:~$ w
> 21:09:47 up 36 min, 0 users, load average: 0.10, 0.08, 0.20
> USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT

'last' gets me:
> ron@khufu:~$ last | head
> reboot system boot 4.13.7-khufu-0 Tue Oct 17 16:33 still running
> reboot system boot 4.13.7-khufu-0 Tue Oct 17 15:43 - 20:32 (04:49)
> reboot system boot 4.13.7-khufu-0 Mon Oct 16 16:51 - 01:15 (08:24)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Mon Oct 16 16:10 - 20:50 (04:40)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Mon Oct 16 15:32 - 20:09 (04:37)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Sun Oct 15 15:31 - 02:05 (10:33)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Sun Oct 15 05:24 - 14:19 (08:55)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Sun Oct 15 05:21 - 05:23 (00:02)
> reboot system boot 4.13.6-khufu-0 Sat Oct 14 23:53 - 05:23 (05:30)

... and so on. (Lots of reboots because the box is dual-boot, and I need
Windows for games).

Finally, looking at both /var/run/utmp and /var/log/wtmp with bvies shows lots
of reboots, with the occasional SSH login. No logins from sddm.

Problem has been in evidence since I first installed sddm, long ago. Not
reported before because I assumed someone else would get to it first.

This also happens on my work Linux box.

Thanks,

 .....Ron
