Bug#903009: calligra: Does not use italic font styles
Package: calligra
Version: 1:3.1.0+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I found that Calligra is not using proper italic font styles for almost all fonts, but rather tilting the normal style ("oblique" effect). I tested this in Words, Stage, and Sheets, with several fonts such as Fira Sans, EB Garamond, and URW Palladio. These all display correct italic styles in other programs such as LibreOffice and Firefox. I think this bug is of some importance as it limits the ability to create professional-looking documents.
Thanks!
Alex
