I haven't seen any change.

I wonder which patch it is. I've only seen:

  http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc/vlc-3.0.git;a=commitdiff;h=8f05b289e0f3efd3ac0aebf28c6f80a552d91dd8

but it is previous to the 3.0.0 release and seems to concern window
resize only.
