Important bug

Hello,
I have to do a splash screen. i remark that it appears 
in the configuration system/look and feel/splash screen 
only if you put the files into /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.old_office/contents/splash/
and you transform the main.qml file in Splash.qml.
But if you can choose it, the splash screen which is playing 
with the small arrow on splash screen choices or if you choose it
is the breeze splash screen. Probably because the main.qml file
is attempted in the ksplash engine.
I try with the splash screen minimalistic with the same result.
Is it possible to change the parameters into the engine (to make that
all Splash named file associated with a theme will work) or change
the config on your theme to allow main.qml be choosable in 
system/look and feel/splash screen. I haven't find what doesn't work for sddm
but it seems to be a similar problem. Breeze comes everytime instead of the theme.

The upstream issue is for kde4, about a crash caused by a release of qt4.
The issue that you reported is for the kf5 version of breeze, and I read it as a request for help on how to prepare a new splash screen. 

The reports are unrelated, please don't mix them up.
Also, reporting a bug to request help on developing a splash screen won't get you very far. Please consider joining the #plasma at irc.freenode.net irc channel for this kind of help.
