Sorry for muddying the discussion. To me, this situation only happensafter resume from suspend:

- If I select mirroring from SystemSettings and lock -> the input fielddoesn't give feedback but I am able to log in.- If the computer performs a resume and the screen is mirrored becauseKDE/Xorg forgot the setup -> this bug: the input field doesn't givefeedback and pressing enter results in failure because of wrong password.
