Bug#857268: plasma-workspace: xembedsniproxy does not work properly with all applications which use the task tray

I marked this report as serious because of:
- makes unrelated software on the system (or the whole system) break
xembedsniproxy which is used, to make software work with the new task tray of the kde plasma desktop, does not really work properly with quite most software which I use (and propably a lot more).
A minor issues is, that the background of every icon is black.
A Major issue is that the context menus of several softwares are not working anymore. In my case for "taskcoach" and "workrave".
Workrave is practically rendered unusable like that, since I can not enter the software anymore, neither left nor right click works.
The package "gajim" shows 2 tray icons, of which one has no icon at all, and is only grey (I'm not sure if it should be only one icon).
In gmusicbrowser the popup on mouse over doesn't work anymore.
Anyway those are just the application which I've got open right now, I know I found other ones, and I'm sure there are a lot more around.
Eventhough those issues should sooner or later be fixed in those application (or the libarries they use) themselves (at least I guess that's what the kde team hopes for), for the moment beeing it makes it
a pain using a lot of applications. Besides that xembedsniproxy also likes to segfault (I filled an other bug report for that one).
I guess it's not possible, but it would be great if that issue would be fixed before the next stable release.
Since I'll get a new computer next month, my personal solution will be, just to install an other desktop environment, but I guess that's not a solution for everybody.
