Dear Maintainer,

upstream maintainer speaking here!

I installed Debian/testing on a new system this week and noticed that KWin
defaulted to Plastik decoration. This only happens if KWin got compiled without
the Breeze dependency.

Please rebuild KWin with Breeze dependency. We pushed a change today to 5.8 branch
to reduce the risk that the version does not get picked.

The breeze build dependency was added in the 5.8.4 upload, which is currently in sid, due to (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=848523 and https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=848524). I'll close this issue with the corresponding Debian upload, reduce the severity of those issues and ping the release team about this.
