Bug#876861: Cannot cross-compile on stretch
Package: qt5-qmake
Version: 5.7.1+dfsg-3+b1
Severity: normal
Hello,
I am trying to cross-compile plain qt packages for armhf from amd64 on a plain
stretch system, and failing spectacularly.
If I follow this guide: https://wiki.debian.org/CrossCompiling
or this guide: http://suihkulokki.blogspot.it/2017/06/cross-compiling-with-debian-stretch.html
And run this on a qt package (I tried pumpa):
sudo apt-get build-dep -a armhf .
dpkg-buildpackage -aarmhf --b
it still tries to build amd64 code.
If I do the same on a package that doesn't use qmake (I tried bc), then I get
an armhf package.
This page is full of "failed: armhf [qmake5 is broken]" notes:
http://spock.subdivi.de/~helmut/report.html is full of
I didn't see a bug reported for any of this, so here it is.
Is cross-building qt packages using qmake supported in stretch at all?
