Primary, could you explain why you tell us that? In which case you've noticed issue? I'm running Debian 8.9 with QT accessibility enabled without any performance issue.

I'm pretty sure that if all the interested parties try we can find a good
technical solution to this.

Indeed. I wait to reproduce and to understand your use-case before to participate to a debate to figure out your issue.
