Package: print-manager
Version: 1.4.6-1
Earlier today I was using print-manager in KDE to add a printer. I clicked "Click here to add a new printer" and then a dialog opened up. However, it said " Enter an username and a password to complete the task", which is a grammar mistake. This should instead say something along the lines of "Enter your username and password to complete the task." (Notice the period at the end.) I believe this bug is specific to Debian, as I think this typographical error lies in a patch that was applied by you in the past.

Also, no, the string is not Debian specific, and it's still present in the latest upstream code [1], there is a Debian patch that includes this line, but it's only there for context [2].I'm closing this issue as non issue. If you still consider the string to be wrong, please report the issue upstream (in https://bugs.kde.org) directly, as such a change would require of upstream's translations team to update the string in the supported languages.Happy hacking,[1]: https://cgit.kde.org/print-manager.git/tree/libkcups/KCupsPasswordDialog.cpp[2]: https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-kde/applications/print-manager.git/tree/debian/patches/activate_password_dialog -- "Any change looks terrible at first." -- Principle of Design Inertia Saludos /\/\ /\ >< `/Attachment: signature.asc
