Package: print-manager
Version: 1.4.6-1

Earlier today I was using print-manager in KDE to add a printer. I clicked "Click here to add a new printer" and then a dialog opened up. However, it said " Enter an username and a password to complete the task", which is a grammar mistake. This should instead say something along the lines of "Enter your username and password to complete the task." (Notice the period at the end.) I believe this bug is specific to Debian, as I think this typographical error lies in a patch that was applied by you in the past.

Sorry that it took so long in getting back to you.

print-manager can use any valid cups user to authenticate against it (when required), so it's not "your username". Also, no, the string is not Debian specific, and it's still present in the latest upstream code [1], there is a Debian patch that includes this line, but it's only there for context [2].

I'm closing this issue as non issue.

If you still consider the string to be wrong, please report the issue upstream (in https://bugs.kde.org) directly, as such a change would require of upstream's translations team to update the string in the supported languages.

Happy hacking,
