Package: konsole Version: 4:16.08.2-2 Severity: important
After close splitted view all konsole instances running terminate unexpectedly with segmentation fault. I can reproduce this behavior splitting and closing tabs multiple times in a row ("ctrl + )" and "(ctrl + Shift + O)"), I know doing this in a row is not a common use but it happens even if closing the splitted view after a while.
Closing tabs or closing the active "pane"/splitted part?
Currently I can reproduce this in two different installations.
Here is the gdb backtrace:
I managed to reproduce the issue and I have forwarded the report upstream with my backtrace. The backtrace shown in this bug shown in this bug is quite different to the one I've sent, so my guess is that on closing the splitted view some pointer is not being updated correctly, and then the invalid reference might cause the segfault in different parts of the code.
