I guess you misread what I wrote. With "this" i meant that it's run everywhere. So to make it clear, I don't think klipper should run under every available desktop by default. It should be up to the individual desktops to decide which clipboardmanager they want to use. Having it run by default under KDE/Plasma seems fine, but not GNOME (aside from the bugs that currently affect it, like messing up the systray and having messed up window placement).
