Bug#827583: plasma-nm: WWAN connections are disabled after turning on mobile broadband

Package: plasma-nm
Version: 4:5.6.4-2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

After enabling my mobile broadband modem (Ericsson H5321gw) from the plasma-nm
checkbox, the connections tied to it are not shown in the "Networks" popup and
disabled (i.e. can't connect from there, but configuration works) in the
connection manager.

Only when establishing the connection via
nmcli c up Connection
it will start to work immediately and show up under "Networks".

This may be related to: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=591723
My SIM PIN is only stored for the active user account, not system-wide. And
yes, I get that annoying SIM PIN dialogue every time the system wakes up from
sleep.
It's possible that the connection not showing up is because NM thinks the PIN
is "missing".
