can you provide the error log of Akonadi when trying to (re)start it? You can restart Akonadi for example from akonadiconsole, if I remember correctly, you can then also see and export the log.

I can't reproduce the issue, and it's being some time since further information was requested. So I'm closing the bug now, if you can still reproduce the issue please reopen.
