This issue is produced by a bug in qt5 when working with xvfb (or any kind of
display that fakes the modelines). I expect most of the tests to fail under
these circumstances.
The qt5 maintainers point me out the patch in:
http://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtbase.git/commit?id=79447068579ea93d
I expect it to be part of the next qt5 upload.
