Package: kdenlive
Version: 0.9.6-4
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Thank you for maintaining kdenlive.

It looks good.

   * What led up to the situation?

Adding a .png file with transparency as the
   first clip in a project.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

    kdenlive -> Project -> Add clip -> file.png

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Application: Kdenlive (kdenlive), signal: Floating point exception
    Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i386-linux-gnu/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".

kdenlive to show a thumbnail of the image in
   its clips (sub)window.

For what it's worth, running kdenlive in a
different xterm seems to produce a different
error.

It was:

I wonder if a stack was overwritten, or if there
is unitialized data.

Again for what it's worth, I happened to notice several other recent bug
reports also mention

warning: Could not load shared library symbols for linux-gate.so.1.
Do you need "set solib-search-path" or "set sysroot"?

Thanks,
Kingsley

This is an old and unreproducible bug so far, so I'll close it.

If someone can provide new information please feel free to reopen the bug, but
take into account that Qt4 will not receive any more changes except maybe for
fixing security bugs.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.
