Quick reply from phone: they are packaged (although I don't remember the versions).

Check for packages like qml-module-quick or alike. feel free to reply if in doubt or need further assistance.

Hi,

[please Cc me, I don't read the list.]

we at Tails are considering packaging for Debian a Python application
that's been ported to Qt5. Its main .qml file starts with:

  import QtQuick 2.4
  import QtQuick.Controls 1.3
  import QtQuick.Window 2.2
  import QtQuick.Dialogs 1.2

I wasn't able to find the packages needed to run that application, so:

Is Qt Quick 2 available in Debian yet?

If not:

 * any ETA to have it in the archive?
 * do you expect it'll be doable to backport Qt Quick 2, and whatever
   bits of the Qt stack it needs, for Jessie? do you have any plans to
   do that?

Thanks for your work on Qt in Debian!

Cheers,
