   * What led up to the situation?  Installed kde-config-touchpad and xserver-
xorg-input-synaptics, error shows in settings when i attempt configuration
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?I attempted to configure the touchpad
   * What was the outcome of this action?error shown:  synaptic backend not
found
   * What outcome did you expect instead?  To successfully configure my
touchpad driver
