Bug#804764: kdevelop-python: Python 2 support missing
Subject: kdevelop-python: Python 2 support missing
Package: kdevelop-python
Version: 1.7.0-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I would like to use kdevelop to program/debug a larger application that requires Python 2.7 (OpenERP/Odoo). Unfortunately, when I start debugging in kdevelop I get the message "Sorry, debugging is only supported for Python 3.x applications". Kdevelop-python is the only python plugin in Debian and supports only python 3. When installing kdev-python from ubuntu I don't get this message (although there are other problems). With python 2 still in widespread use this is a major issue.
Lots of regards, Jacob.
