The plasma desktop should be usable together other window managers and
hopefully it should be usable with their wayland versions soon. So depending
on kwin-x11 might not be the best solution. The recommends as added by
kde-standard should be fine, though.
kde-plasma-desktop needs to be reviewed, for instance, the dependencies on
kde-runtime and kde-baseapps only bring kde4 plasma parts which can be do
without for a "minimal installation" (if there is such a thing for kde plasma
:) ).
