   * What led up to the situation?
Dolphin is one of the programs I keep open on a virtual desktop permanently. I use 
desktop 3 for Dolphin. However since upgrading to plasma 5 desktop, Dolphin starts
on Desktop 1 and I have to move it Desktop 3.

This is a minor annoyance that becomes more than an annoyance when it covers Icedove,
which sometimes launches before the network share where I keep my mail folders is
mounted (but that is a separate issue).
