Package: libkf5wallet5
Version: 5.13.0-1
Severity: normal

Hi there.

On upgrading workstation at work I found Owncloud client not being able to
access kwallet5 through Qt Secure Keychain due to missing service.

And indeed only kwalletd not kwalletd5 was running. That was due to the fact
that libkf5wallet-bin which contains the necessary binary was not installed.

Not sure exactly where, but somewhere there needs to be at least a recommends
for that, I´d say. I thought about a recommends in libkf5wallet5 itself. A
depends may be to strong as people may want to install applications which
link to the library without wanting to use kwallet service.

What do you think?

I can have a go to implement the necessary change in the packaging for you to
upload. But feel free to beat me to it.

Thank you,
Martin

Oh, I see, libkf5wallet5 5.13.0-1 has the recommends. Then I wonder why it
didn´t get installed on my workstation. Anyway, closing, as thats likely a
configuration issue on the workstation.

Thanks,
